Who we are
Personal Reset is a private one-to-one wellbeing and personal development practice run by Ian at Bedford Consulting Rooms, 4 Goldington Road, Bedford MK40 3NF, and online. Personal Reset is the data controller for the information described in this notice. This notice explains, in plain English, what personal information is collected through this website, why, and what your rights are under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
What we collect
When you use the enquiry forms on this site, we collect the details you choose to give: your name, your email address, your preferred session format, and anything you write in your message. The website itself sets no analytics or marketing cookies and does not track you.
Our anti-spam protection, Cloudflare Turnstile, runs invisibly on the form pages and may process technical information such as your IP address and browser characteristics, solely to distinguish people from automated traffic. How Turnstile handles that information is described in Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Why we collect it
Your details are used for one purpose: to read your enquiry and reply to you personally. The lawful basis for this is legitimate interest — responding to an enquiry you have chosen to send. Your information is never sold, never used for marketing lists, and never shared with third parties for their own purposes.
Who processes it
This site is hosted by Cloudflare, which also provides the anti-spam protection described above; enquiries are delivered by Resend, our email delivery provider. Both act as processors on our behalf and each processes only what it needs to perform its role — see Cloudflare's privacy policy and Resend's privacy policy for how they handle information. If you go on to become a client, anything you share in sessions is handled separately, with the discretion described on this site and in line with British Psychological Society ethical practice.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept only as long as it is needed to handle your enquiry and any sessions that follow from it, and is then deleted. If you enquire but do not go on to book, your enquiry is deleted once the exchange has concluded.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its use, and to receive a copy of it. To exercise any of these rights, use the contact form and Ian will respond personally. If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
